"This was the first item I saw from Lane201- it was an instant purchase. Wore it to a friends wedding and got sooo many compliments. I probably got it one size too big (just because it only hangs by the one strap around the neck) so I’d recommend, if you’re between sizes, sizing down to avoid side boob. Either way, nothing a safety pin or two can’t fix. Can’t wait to wear it again."

Extra large for a small

"I ordered this dress for a concert, and not only was the dress expensive, but I also paid extra for shipping to make sure it arrived in time. Unfortunately, when I tried it on, it practically fell right off me. Based on the reviews saying it was true to size, I ordered a small, but the sizing was nowhere close to what I expected from a small. What makes this even more frustrating is that they only offer store credit- no refunds. So now I’m stuck with credit after spending a significant amount of money on a dress I can’t wear, plus the extra cost of shipping. Given this experience, I’m very hesitant to make another purchase because I don’t feel confident that the sizing is accurate. For the price of the dress and the shipping, I expected much better. The inaccurate sizing combined with a store-credit-only return policy makes it difficult to justify purchasing from them again."
